When I found this yarn by Gaslight Dyeworks on etsy.com a few years ago I was in love. The colours were so vibrant and gorgeous, I knew that it had to be mine. However when it arrived on my doorstep I found myself faced with a dilemma. I decided that it was much too pretty to hide away in a pair of socks, but anything else would make the colours pool and flash in an altogether unattractive way. By pairing it with a solid yarn of a similar weight, the colours are able to shine through without creating an ugly mess.
MC: Gaslight Dyeworks Superwash Fingering in Hocus Crocus (100% merino, 105g, 500y/457m)

If you are thinking of doing the whole set (mitts, hat, shawl) then you will need about 200g of each colour. The mitts and hat can be done with 100g of each.
